The Coffee Shop Sessions
As the name would indicate these are intimate listening room shows for a maximum of 30 music lovers, in the friendliest and most comfortable surrounds possible. The Coffee Shop is decorated in a Art Deco style which compliments superbly the genuine roots stylings of an eclectic mix of performers.
At the heart of The Coffee Shop sessions is a regular twice monthly Thursday Night Open Mic Session "Acoustic Thursday Coffee Shop Sessions" hosted by local blues tinged Chanteuse Emma Shearer and feature guest floor spots from local (and not so local) musicians. If you're an artist and fancy playing you need 20 minutes of prepared repertoire. If you're coming from far a field we recommend you book your spot in advance, such is the clubs popularity however we always try to accommodate anyone turning up with a guitar if at all possible. Entry is by donation with all monies going to artists' expenses.
