Rob Ellen has been involved in music development for over 25 years. He is the organiser of a range of acoustic concerts and events throughout the Highlands & islands under the Medicine Show banner.
These incude the Acoustic Strathpeffer concerts and open mic sessions, local radio broadcasts and internet broadcasts of Acoustic Strathpeffer concerts via Stageit.
As well as helping to found the Belladrum Tartan Heart festival which he continues to help organise, he organises the Tartan Heart Fringe which sets the tone for Belladrum in venues across the Highland's for the first week of August every year and culminates in the Potting Shed Medicine Show Stage at Belladrum Festival itself.
Rob has done a huge amount to turn Strathpeffer into an internationally-recognised acoustic music location. He is also a pioneer of the House Concert network which sees regular house concerts at Steve & Clancy Macdonald's house in the village with thelp and support of Square Wheels Cycles.
