A wide range of sports is available in the village and nearby throughout the year and many teams take part in local and regional competitions and leagues.

Strathpeffer is particularly known as the home of the Strathpuffer annual cycling endurance event which gets international and national coverage on TV. The golf club and cricket club have illustrious histories and continue to thrive. But on any of the week you can find tennis, bowls, shinty, croquet, walking and football. Cycling
Strathpefffer is known as a centre for cycling in the Highlands. From the 24 hour Strathpuffer endurance event to family cycling holidays, the village is the hub of cycling in the area.

In the village square is Square Wheels which caters for all your cycling needs. Many of the B&Bs and guesthouses will store bikes while you stay. And there are maps available of the trails around the woods and hills near the village.
