Sponsorship automatically gives you sponsor status on the Strathpeffer website which includes the following benefits:

• You have a username and password so you can update the content of your page(s) any time you want, as often as you want, from any computer with an internet connection.

• You can create as many sub-pages on the site as you want (under your main page).

• You can upload more photos.

• You can upload videos from YouTube or photo galleries from Flickr.

• You can upload a brochure, pricelist or other document to your page for visitors to download

• Your page can include a contact form (by request). The completed form is sent automatically to your email address.

• inclusion in the featured sponsor section of your area of the website and on the homepage of the website.

• a "friendly" page name on the site. Instead of www.strathpeffervillage.org.uk/stay:76 the page name is in the format www.strathpeffervillage.org.uk/your-business which can be used on flyers, adverts etc.

• your own email address: @strathpeffervillage.org.uk which can forward emails to your private email address if you wish or be used as one of your email addresses.

• the ability to add and publicise events for your business.

• your details/advertisement included in any public events held by the Strathpeffer Initiative.

By being a sponsor and having a username and password you also become an editor of the website itself which allows you to add or change content on other pages of the website. This is done on a trust basis and we know who has made every change to the site. But don’t worry, every change is stored and pages can be reverted to an earlier version if you don’t like the result or in the unlikely event of any misleading or offensive information being added to the site. The site is also monitored constantly by the village webteam who receive text notifications of every change.

Organisations and individuals in the village who are not sponsors will have fewer features in that they will only have a single page, can only have a single photo on their page and no videos, will not have a contact form, will not nesessarily have constant links in the relevant channels of the website, and will not be included in the featured sponsor section. They also will not be able to login to update their own information (unless they are separately a website editor) and will not be allocated @strathpeffervillage.org.uk email address.
