On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th October the Pavilion in Strathpeffer will pay homage to the life and music of the legendary Johnny Cash courtesy of Roger Dean and his show The Johnny Cash Story.
Roger Dean rose to fame following his BBC television debut at the age of 14 and he secured his first of many radio broadcasts soon after performing the music of Johnny Cash, so who better to recreate the magic of the world’s most loved outlaw.
When asked to describe his show Dean explains that “rather than attempting to mimic the great Johnny Cash, myself and my band have developed our own style over the years treating audiences to a slick, tried and tested show which has taken in some of the biggest cities in the world”.
For those who have seen the Hollywood blockbuster Walk The Line starring Reece Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix then you are guaranteed to enjoy over 2 hours of storytelling magic featuring Johnny Cash’s biggest hits: I Walk The Line, Ring of Fire, Get Rhythm, Folsom Prison Blues, Man In Black, A Boy Named Sue and the award winning Hurt.
